Position purpose (A brief statement indicating the basic purpose of the position)
• Serve as a statistical programming specialist in difficult indications, excellent statistical programming skills. Provides experience and implementation of new analysis methods. Has broad knowledge about technical submission requirements. Assume role as lead project statistical programmer for all statistical programming support for complex / key clinical projects and system environment and standard projects. Deep understanding of the biostatistical drug development pharma business.
Major tasks and responsibilities of position (max. 8 key topics)
• Independently seek out and develop a broad knowledge of new programming and submission technologies (CDISC, SAS DI, Lincoln Technology SDTM Review tools, ect.)
• Participates in industry meetings, professional and scientific groups/events with regard to health authority submission requirements as well as with regard to new statistical programming principles
• Develop new standard programs and tools to be used across projects as well as project specific versions.
• Develops and implements complex statistical and mathematical algorithms in close cooperation with statisticians.
• Provide statistical programming support for all applications used for assigned complex clinical projects.
• Lead and coordinate activities of assigned statistical programming team members
• Act as a mentor for statistical programmers

10/6/4 yrs statistical programming with SAS in pharma or biotech. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and communicate throughout the organization within a fast-paced cross-functional environment while prioritizing multiple competing tasks and demands.
