统计分析师(US STAT.-IA Provides expertise in analytic methodologies to assigned projects for IMS US Statistical Studies and provide ongoing analytic support for existing US Pharmaceutical Market Research Studies, with focus on Production Support activities. Under supervision, provides statistical methodology support in the delivery of standard and custom studies. Performs regular statistical analysis/programming activities independently, and supports complex activities by applying proper statistical methodologies in project situations under guidance and coaching. Supports ongoing research tasks, client proposals, ad-hoc client requests, and complex data investigations. Translates client business needs into requirements on analytic work; conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the study and prepare written summaries or reports of study results; be able to interpret data and draw conclusions independently, for validation by supervisor. Assists other statisticians in preparing analysis plans and statistical reports and performs validation of statistical analysis. Works on projects of moderate scope within defined procedures and practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of experience with a Bachelor’s or with up to two years of experience with a Master’s in operations research, market research, or applied statistics. Technical knowledge/skills include: multivariate analysis, regression analysis and forecasting, sampling, and basic knowledge of SAS programming languages in both PC and mainframe environments. Ability to proactively identify complex problems and needs ad develop solutions/recommendations to solve problems. |
